New Membership Application Process

It is imperative that all MMQBC members seek out new members who will actively and enthusiastically embrace MMQBC’s ideals, objectives, and mission for the long term. Applicants must be 28 years or older by March 15th to apply.

Freshman members will be expected to raise a minimum of $1,500 for our charities in their first year. The application and selection process are described below for the benefit of the Primary Sponsor and their applicant.

1. The MMQBC office will release the application link to MMQBC members upon written request to michelle@mmqbc.org. The requesting member will be the Primary Sponsor.

2. MMQBC members may only be the Primary Sponsor for one applicant at a time with exceptions being made for family members (sons, sons-in-law, fathers, brothers, uncles & nephews)

3. Prior to completing the application online, the applicant must obtain a letter of endorsement from the Primary Sponsor and three additional letters of endorsement from MMQBC members. It is suggested that MMQBC members write no more than two letters a year in support of applicants.

4. The MMQBC will accept completed applications for consideration from January 1st through March 15th annually. The MMQBC office will distribute applications to the Team for review after the March 15th deadline.

5. Following the March 15th deadline, it is strongly encouraged for all applicants to reach out to the Membership Committee to personally contact and introduce themselves prior to April 30th. Primary Sponsors are encouraged to support their applicants through this process. **There will be two group meet & greet sessions in April following the March deadline. All applicants and their Sponsors will be notified via email when the sessions are planned.

6. The Team will meet in May to elect new members. All applicants will be notified via their Primary Sponsor as to the outcome.

7. Completed applications will be considered for two years; however, it is the Primary Sponsor’s responsibility to inform the MMQBC office of the candidate’s intention to remain as an applicant in the second year (we will not automatically assume they want to remain an applicant). We recommend all carry-over applicants enthusiastically work the process described above.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the MMQBC office at 226-8830 or by email at michelle@mmqbc.org
